  Did You Ever Steal?

  today, i heard about how a very beloved relative of ours that recently passed away from cancer, had a reputation for stealing.

  she would often go in stores and switch tags on clothing or other items (among other things).

  we were shocked to find this out by a number of other relatives.

  Stealing isn't my thing. I've never switched tags once or shoplifted. I'm no goodie two shoes but I just don't steal.

  stillajwexelder as jwbot asked do you think it's a totally loveless marriage? Is there anything that can be done or should you just get moving towards the divorce?

  Yeru I think you're the first guy that has turned down oral in history. Or the first human as far as that goes.

  MY Wal-Mart Experience Today.

  well, there i was out in front of wal-mart today.

  i'm wearing my yellow smock that says "helping the mentally disabled" and "knights of columbus" yep, it's the beginning of that time of year...the time when we pass out tootsie rolls and accept donations giving the money to the mentally hanidcapped.. anyhow, the way our group does it...we offer the tootsie roll to anyone that wants one...even if they don't choose to make a donation.... you wouldn't believe how many people just could not believe that we would actually just give them a tootsie roll without them giving us a donation...one guy just walked away and says "there's gotta be a catch" it took me three minutes to explain to this one woman that regardless of whether or not she gave a donation i would still give her a tootsie roll, even if she told me in advance that she wasn't going to give me a donation.

  i guess people really aren't used to getting something for nothing.. sure, it's my hope that after giving them a tootsie roll they'll give a donation...but the other motive is just to get them the tootsie roll that also has the "knights of columbus" name on the wrapper (specially printed for the knights).

  when i signed up on jwd last summer, i was a total, total internet newbie.

  i'd never been on a db before, never been in a chat room before, and didn't have a clue what im was.

  lol talk about wet behind the ears .

  Craig I think this DB is useful and I enjoy it most of the time but I don't find a closeness here that I see on other boards. I also belong to a cycling forum and I have really become close to several people there. We have weekly bicycle rides and I try to make as many as I can.

  I think there are too many personal attacks here and I certainly got nailed a few times by people with opposing political views. I have seen the owner of the board (who I like) post some very negative messages directed towards users here. My opinion of that is yes, it's his house and we should behave, but he has invited us in here and he isn't always as good a host as he should be. He also has responsibility. The like it or leave it mentality isn't appealing. But Simon this isn't an attack on you and I hope you don't take it that way. Just my opinion and as I have written before opinions aren't always facts. Just opinions.

  Now I have read some very heart felt messages here from people who have been deeply hurt by the society. That is the direction I feel this forum needs to stay focused on. Political opinions here have as much real value as those from Johnny Depp. We aren't experts but we sure play one on the forums.

  Wow

  I didn't think a dub would respond to this thread so I admire your honesty. You guys rock.

  I was never dunked in the pool but of course witnesses won't associate with me any longer and I miss a couple of them from my old congregation. I'm sure they miss me too but they are locked into the current rules and trying to be good witnesses. I hold no resentment towards them at all. I hope you guys are happy.

  Kennedy has had a few cases of Wild Turkey too many. He lost his good looks because of the booze years ago and it appears he has finally lost his mind as well.

  we watched the second episode again last night.

  i love rupert the pirate.

  he got a little too attached to that spear but amazed everyone when he found the lost tip.. the drake tribe is kicking morgans butt and when oston from morgan started whining about wanting to go home his muscles didn't look as awesome anymore.

  Those long winter evenings must fly by

  Oh it's trashy stuff for sure but for us Survivor is a huge party. Our apartment/condo fills up to standing room only. Life as we know it comes to a stop and I think that in itself makes it a great show.

  i loved it when that blonde chick called him the biggest puss she ever met. :P

  I can't think of her name either but I have a feeling she'll be around for awhile. She has a great personality.

  I think Sandra will come to regret taking that tarp and destroying their shelter a little later on in the game.....

  Especially if Osten is still around, he really got pissy about that tarp.

  I know a couple of people who've had intimate friends online. Translated that means they've gotten intimite with themselves I guess. One guy's girlfriend dropped him over his affections towards himself.

  I can't imagine sitting in front of the monitor doing that stuff. I think you're supposed to be watching porn when you do that.
